Size/weight: Approx. 27" long

Description (ca. 1921):
This 1920s tennis racket was made of ash wood, which was then laminated, bent, and glued into the proper shape. The strings used in the racket are called “gut” (and rightly so) because they are made from the intestines of a cow. Major tournaments at the time included the US, Australian, and French Opens, as well as Wimbledon.
