Description (ca. 1921): Established in 1901, the Oak Hill Country Club is a thriving place where many members come to play golf. Initially, this country club only had 9 holes, but the country club has moved over to a different location this year. While the land swap may be considered a risky decision, the community of Rochester has worked to make this country club thrive. Local physician John Ralston Williams has helped to plant oak trees in order to cultivate the land, and many other civilians have pitched in to help make this place a proper country club.
