Biography (ca. 1921):

Karat, born in an undisclosed location overseas, spent much of his early life being raised by almost everyone but his mother, Miranda Knight. Miranda, a spy herself, spent much time abroad and would leave Karat with servants and enrolled him in boarding schools. Despite Karat being a trouble maker and finding school to be a waste of time he came out of it with a large knowledge base. And, little to his knowledge, his mother was having him trained to be a spy as well.

After schooling and a brief stint traveling the world to party and womanize, Karat entered the agency. After further training he was finally assigned his first mission, and it was clear he was very talented. Despite many colleagues hating him for his sarcasm and general lack of acknowledgement of his or others mortality, everyone agrees that he is the best agent in the agency. As a result he has been the target of many attacks throughout his life.
