Description (ca. 1921): Previously known as the Hahnemann Homeopathic Hospital, this hosiptal opened in April 1889 and was initially dedicated to using natural and homeopathic ways of treating their patients. This year, after the hospital had some steady growth in the community, the two schools of medicine (homeopathic and allopathic) merged to form the one school known as the science of medicine. Because of this merge, the hospital is now known as the Highland Hospital. This hospital has become a staple in the community of Rochester, and it has worked to benefit the inhabitants and help them through their times of need.
